Airscrews cartoon strip
This ill-fated venture was all it took to remind Seags of the fact that a huge talent is required to produce a 'proper' cartoon strip. Having been blessed with a sense of humour which is easily confused with 'not very funny' (see?) and the ability to produce only one strip of even this quality per year it soon became obvious that Airscrews was not going to fund his life-long dream of becoming a pilot. So instead he just nicked the logo for the band and booked a parachute jump.
Seags' profound apologies go to residents of the following locations should any of the place name substitutions featured on the Airscrews cover have proved offensive; Ipswich (Dipswich) Mersea Island (Murky Island) Harwich (Marwich-on-the-Rocks)
